Snow bucket trekking pole hack

I love my Black Diamond Distance Z Trekking Poles; they are super light, easy to store and hold up well in the backcountry. Unfortunately, though, they were not designed to accommodate snow buckets. Not wanting to buy a second set of poles, I searched for a workaround. With a little bit of boiling water and a pack of Black Diamond Flex Tips, I was able to make it work.
